When We Train
September to June:
- parade on select Tuesday evenings
- 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- every second weekend.
Full-time summer employment is available from May to August.

Who We Are
10th Field Artillery Regiment, RCA, (10 Fd Regt) is a Primary Reserve unit within 38 Canadian Brigade Group and is a part of 38 Canadian Brigade Group`s Artillery Tactical Group along with 26th Field Artillery Regiment, RCA, in Brandon, Manitoba, and 116th Independent Field Battery, RCA, in Kenora, Ontario. Together, we recruit and train physically and mentally strong soldiers that can support Canada`s Defence Strategy.
We deploy soldiers on domestic operations (Vancouver Olympics, British Colombia and Saskatchewan Forest Fires, and Manitoba Floods) and expeditionary operations (in Cyprus, the Golan Heights, Croatia, Bosnia, and Afghanistan) as well as support such local activities as Gun Salutes at the opening of the Legislatures in Saskatchewan.
As a unit, we generally parade every second weekend throughout the training year between September and June of each year; however, the individual batteries may parade on select Tuesday evenings. 10 Fd Regt has two batteries. 18 Battery, located in Regina, Saskatchewan, and 64 Battery, located in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.

A Hometown Hero’s welcome in Ottawa
Ottawa, Ontario —Inuk Elder, Qapik Attagutsiak, was recognized as a Parks Canada Hometown Hero at the Canadian Museum of History. The Elder was commemorated for collecting bones in the Canadian Arctic during the Second World War. The bones were then sent to southern Canada to make ammunition, fertilizer and aircraft glue to support Canada’s war efforts.

Our History
The 10th Field Artillery Regiment, RCA originated in Regina, Saskatchewan on 2 February 1920, when the '10th Brigade, CFA' was authorized to be formed.
