When We Train

Unit Parade Night: Tuesday or Thursday evenings (Sept - May) from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. One weekend per month (Sept – May). Full-time summer training available (Jun – Aug).

The Brigade Headquarters, located in Ottawa, Ontario, is a full time unit staffed 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. In addition, staff will work evenings or weekends as required by their duties. The Brigade’s Reserve units have small full time staffs that work throughout the week. Training hours for the part-time Reserve training conducted by each unit is detailed on the unit pages linked below.

Who We Are

33 Canadian Brigade Group is military formation that is made up of 16 Army Reserve Force units located throughout eastern Ontario, in an area extending more than 1000 kilometers from east to west, and 700 kilometers from north to south.

The 16 Reserve units are located in cities within the National Capital Region, but also as far south as Oshawa; north in Timmins; east in Cornwall; and west in Sault Ste Marie.

33 Canadian Brigade Group Headquarters is currently located in the city of Ottawa and is a part of 4 Canadian Division which is headquartered in Toronto.
