HONUS HABET ONUS
Honour through service”
Colonel F.J. Chagnon, OMM, CD
Chief Warrant Officer Terry Garand, MMM, CD
The mission of CFB Kingston is to provide the highest possible standard of support services in order to allow lodger units to focus on their primary missions. Through these support services, the base enables over 35 lodger units to contribute to the operational outputs of the Canadian Armed Forces, domestically and overseas. The base has a great Military Family Resource Centre that offers a range of programs tailored to our community needs; first class Sport and Recreation facilities, and numerous clubs and activity groups that are sure to give you an opportunity to seek out new hobbies, interests and friendships.
During Veterans’ Week (VW) 2014, from November 5 to 11, Canadians will come together to pay tribute to all Canadian Veterans who have served this country with pride, and those who continue to do so today.
In support of VW, current members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) from CFB Kingston are available to give presentations at schools and other community organizations in your community as part of the Department of National Defence’s National Veterans’ Week Speakers Program.
The Canadian Forces Community Gateway is a series of linked websites (one for every base and wing) that provides a common national view of all local base/wing Non-Public Property (NPP) programs and activities including publicly-funded programs delivered through NPP. These are just some of the services available on the Community Gateway site:
