Exercise BOLD ALLIGATOR is a multinational amphibious coastal waters warfare exercise hosted by the United States. It was first held in 2011.

Exercise BOLD ALLIGATOR 2014 took place from October 29th to November 10th on and off shore along the coasts of Virginia and North Carolina, focusing on crisis response operations in a complex setting with coalition partners.

Forces from 19 nations, including Canada, Britain, France, Norway, the Netherlands and Brazil as well as 19 U.S. Navy and coalition ships participated

Canada’s representation included soldiers from 3rd Battalion, Royal 22e Régiment based in Valcartier, Quebec.
