CFB Suffield first responders train at Ralston School

Public Notice / June 19, 2017 / Project number: w-ps-17-06a

Ralston, Alberta – June 16, 2017

Canadian Forces Military Police will be conducting critical incident response training at Ralston School on June 18 and 24 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

This training is conducted as part of annual recertification for emergency response personnel at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Suffield. First responders at CFB Suffield are responsible for the safety and security of nearby residents, including those who reside in the Crown Village of Ralston where the school is located. There will be no disruption to the school because classes are not in session during this time.

Those who live near the school may observe what appears to be an emergency situation unfolding, but should not be alarmed because this is part of the simulation.

The public is asked to not approach vehicles or personnel involved in the training or cross any areas marked off with police tape. This is a closed training environment that is not open to the public.
